This castle-like château designed by Alexandre Vallaury was built in 1897 for the Ottoman Public Debt Administration. Transferred to the school by Atatürk's instruction in 1933, it is a long-established institution that painted its windows black in memory of the final-year students who fell at the Battle of Gallipoli in 1915.
