Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Cookies are small files stored in your browser when you visit the site. Below we explain which ones we use and why.
Essential cookies
These are required for the site to function and do not require consent.
sb-*— Supabase session cookies. Keep you signed in if you have an account.locale— Your language preference (Turkish/English), so you don't have to choose it every visit.
Cookie-free anonymous counting
We count which places and routes get attention (a page being opened, a tap on “Directions”, call or booking links) on our own server, without personal data. Your IP address, name or device ID are not recorded and no cookies are used. The campaign you arrived from (utm_source / utm_campaign in the link) and the referring site's name are kept in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when the tab closes (sessionStorage: ir-utm, ir-v:*). These counts show places the interest they receive and help us improve the site.
Analytics cookies (consent-based)
Loaded only if you consent to analytics cookies in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", these are never created.
_ga,_ga_*— Google Analytics 4. Measures which pages are visited, using an anonymised IP; not used to identify you personally.
Marketing cookies (separate consent)
To measure whether the ads we run on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) work, we may use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. They run only if you separately consent to marketing cookies in the cookie banner; without that consent your browser sends no requests to Meta.
_fbp,_fbc— Meta Pixel cookies. Let Meta match a visit that came from an ad with what happened next (e.g. opening a route, getting directions, signing up to the newsletter).
If you consent, the following goes to Meta: the page you open and the action you take (e.g. directions, a ticket link), browser information, your IP address and the cookies above. We do not store your IP address; it is only attached to the request sent to Meta. If you sign up to the newsletter, your email address goes to Meta not in plain form but as an irreversible hash (SHA-256). Meta's servers are located abroad; this transfer is based on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How to change your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page to switch analytics and marketing consent on or off at any time, separately. When you withdraw marketing consent, the Meta cookies are deleted and nothing further is sent to Meta. You can also block all cookies in your browser settings; signing in may then stop working.
